A gorgeous antique Victorian bracelet from the late 19th Century lined with fifteen mesmerising moonstone cabochons weighing approx. 0.80ct each, 12ct total.
The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and said to be a path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
The stones are held in 18ct gold frames with ring links in between, leading to a hook clasp at the end. It’s very pretty and the moonstones look enchanting wrapped around the wrist.
